Sarah: Hopelessly liberal despite my conservative upbringing and thorough Marine Corps brainwashing. Political influences: Ralph Nader, Stephen Colbert, and Edward Snowden. I've worked for the government my entire adult life, so I now probably understand it less than before. True patriotism has no party affiliation- it involves learning the facts, wanting what's best for one's state, and doing one's duty to help make it happen. This class is my quest for the knowledge that feeds the flame.
